1. Castor Oil :

i. Use a clean brush or a cotton swab to apply castor oil on your lashes before going to bed. A few drops of vitamin E can also be beneficiary. Leave it overnight and rinse it off with lukewarm water in the morning.
ii. Alternatively, mix together 2 tablespoon each of Castor oil and Aloe vera gel. Apply it on your eyelashes using a cotton swab. Leave it overnight, then rinse it off the next morning. Follow either of these remedies daily for 2-3 months.
2. Olive Oil :
Olive oil is used widely for its hair thickening benefits. The oil features vitamin E and oleic acid, both of which add volume to eyelashes as well as nourish damaged lashes. Use a clean mascara brush for oiling your lashes. Dip it in the oil and start applying from the roots of the lashes. Do the rest as said in favour of Olive oil. Repeat this remedy daily to get your desired results.
3. Aloe vera :
Aloe vera is a wonderful home remedy that can help you to get long and thick lashes. It works best when it’s fresh. So make sure that you apply freshly squeezed Aloe vera gel onto your lashes right before to bed. Moreover, Aloe vera helps to keep your eyelashes moisturised.
Note: Make sure to remove the latex by rinsing the Aloe vera gel thoroughly before applying.
4. Lemon Peels :
It may not seem like an ideal option. Though lemon peels won’t do any harm to your lashes. The peels are rich in vitamin C and B, Folic acid and other nutrients that promote the growth of eyelashes.
i. Put 1 t/s of moderately dried lemon peels in a jar containing Olive oil or Castor oil.
ii. Let the mixture sit for several days to allow the oil to absorb the qualities of the lemon peel.
iii. Remove the oil peel and transfer the oil into an airtight container of dropper bottle.
iv. Start applying a bit of the oil onto your lashes every night.
5. Eggs :
Eggs are highly rich in protein which is known for its extraordinary benefits including hair strengthening and lengthening. Additionally, it contains Biotin and vitamin B, both of which improve the texture of hair as well as your eyelashes. a. Beat an egg and apply a few drops of egg mixture onto your lashes. b. Leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water. c. You can also add 1 t/s of glycerin to get a thick and creamy texture.
6. Green Tea :
Did you know that green tea not only reduces your fat but also helps your lashes to grow faster? Because of its rich nature, green tea stimulates growth of eyelashes and cleans follicles to consider for even more growth.
i. Prepare a cup of green tea and set it aside to cool.
ii. Once it is cooled off sufficiently, dip a cotton swab in the tea so that it can soak it in and apply it on your lashes from root to the tips.
iii. Allow the tea to sit on your lashes for at least 15 minutes and rinse it off with cold water. Follow this rules up to 2-3 months for expected results.
Note: While using green tea, make sure it doesn’t get into your eyes.
7. Vaseline :
Using a petroleum jelly onto your lashes can play a great role for stimulating eyelash growth. Vaseline offers you an easy, cheap and quick way of increasing the thickness of your lashes. Everyday use at night before going to bed enables Vaseline to work its magic overnight and helping you to achieve faster results.
8. Eyelash serum :
You can also use eyelash serum to your eyelids and lightly massage your lids. This will help to stimulate hair growth and prevent breakage of lashes. A simple yet effective eyelash growth serum can be made by mixing the following ingredients:-
i. 1/2 tbs of Coconut oil.
ii. 1 tbs of Castor oil.
iii. 1 tbs of Almond oil. (You can also use extra Castor oil as an alternative).
iv. 2 capsules of vitamin E oil (optional).
